Our Back to School Program is an annual late summer event where parents can sign their school children up for a backpack with grade appropriate supplies, vouchers for shoes/socks and new for 2025 a shower caddy with personal hygiene items. COA works with the school office to pay for school fees, if needed.

Covington Outreach Association's 2024 Back to School Program Recap

The Covington Outreach Association provided 71 students from 31 families with a backpack and grade level supplies.  Gift vouchers for Shoe Carnival in Troy were given to families to get new shoes and/or socks for each child.  This year gift cards for Great Clips were given away to the same children.  From Head to Toe, Get Ready to Go!

Identification, proof of residency in Covington, proof of income and a short intake survey are required for participation.
