Back2School Program

Our Back to School Program is an annual late summer event where parents can sign their school children up for a backpack with grade appropriate supplies and pick it up before the first day of school. COA works with the school office to pay for school fees, if needed.

The Covington Outreach Association is excited to share the details of our expanded Back to School program. As in years past, we will provide each student, including preschoolers, with a backpack and grade level supplies. This year, we are hosting Shoes for the Shoeless, a Dayton area nonprofit which provides children with properly fitted shoes and socks. The mobile shoe store will be in Covington on Thursday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m.  Additionally, we are offering free haircuts at several area salons and barber shops.

Let’s plan to start our kiddos off to a great year in school. From head to toe, they will be ready to go!

Covington residents may register now through July 21 to participate in this program. For more information on how to register your family or how to volunteer, please contact us at or (937) 541-5581.
