​To accomplish our primary mission, we schedule instore shopping at Meijer in Troy. Folks select their own groceries and our volunteers cover the cost at check out.

We help families who are having financial difficulties catch up on utility bills or rent with direct payments to providers and landlords to avoid shut-offs and evictions.
​​
The slogan for our Back 2 School program is Head to Toe, Get Ready to Go! We provide a back pack with grade level supplies, new shoes, and a voucher for a haircut so every student can have a fresh start to the school year.

Each year, the COA helps our local children receive gifts of toys and clothing to open on Christmas morning. We also provide all of our families with fresh food to prepare their special holiday dinner.
Food 4 Kids ​

​In partnership with the Covington schools, our Paula M Montgomery Food for Kids program provides breakfast, lunch and snacks for long holiday weekends. We want to ensure kids are receiving the nutrition they need to be healthy, happy students.
Senior Christmas
​
Christmas is for children of all ages. We deliver a cheerful, fuzzy hand-made blanket and small gift to each resident of our local assisted living facility. The residents are delighted to feel a part of our community and to know we are thinking of them.

Summertime Stock Up ​

Donations from local churches and businesses provide much needed cleaning supplies, personal hygiene and other important and much needed household taxable items.
